About us 

Dolly's Dog Grooming & Spa is named after my own little rescue dog who ignited my passion in dog grooming.  Dolly was found as a stray on the streets of Wales, but was rescued by Last Chance Animal Rescue in Kent.  She weighed just 2.5kg and was in a terrible condition, but it didn't take her long to settle in and is now the diva of the house!

I tried a few salons before settling on a one-to-one groomer that I knew Dolly was happy with, so I know how important a calm and relaxing environment can be. I groom on a one to one basis, treating your dog as my own, ensuring each dog receives the best care and love, providing a service I would want my own pet to receive.

I am professionally qualified and hold the iPET Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming & Salon Management.  I am also Canine First Aid trained.  I trained at The Bone Idol Academy in Brighton & Hove.  My tutor represented the grooming industry in BBC1's Pooch Perfect UK.  I love to continue learning new skills and techniques, so regularly attend seminars to watch some of the country's most famous groomers showcase their amazing talents.

I gained over two years' experience in a popular grooming salon in Surrey before opening my own home-based salon in Pulborough, West Sussex in April 2022.  I have recently moved location (but am still in the local area!) and am now mobile, so I can continue to provide the same level of service from the comfort of my own fully equipped van, right outside your front door! 

 

Dolly's has recently been voted as one of the first-ever Nextdoor Neighbourhood Fave winners! This award means so much to us, so thank you to all who voted.
